… yesterday, December 7th, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
You can listen to FDR’s speech here at Wikipedia. We need to never forget, and we need to remember that something like this can happen again. The world is not at peace, and treachery can come in many forms.
