Protesters ALLOWED to Spray Paint the Capitol?! January 29th, 2007
According to this report from The Hill, police were ordered to fall back and allow anti-war protesters to spray paint slogans on the steps of the US Capitol building.
According to the sources, police officers were livid when they were told to fall back by U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) Chief Phillip Morse and Deputy Chief Daniel Nichols. “They were the commanders on the scene,” one source said, who requested anonymity. “It was disgusting.”
Approximately 300 protesters were allowed to take the steps and began to spray paint “anarchist symbols” and phrase such as “Our capitol building” and “you can’t stop us” around the area, the source said.

Support the Fighting Aces June 30th, 2005
From My Position… blogger Chuck got nailed by a IED last week. It looks like he’s going to pull through with a bit of help from the doctors at Walter Reed, and a whole lot of prayers.
Chuck was on a foot patrol w/ one of his platoons. A civilian Iraqi informant was leading the patrol to the site of the IED. Well, this informant (ass hole) set the patrol up and the IED was remotely detonated. And my husband was hit!!! The blast blew him into the canal, and CPT Jason Spencer went into the canal and saved Chuck’s life… he kept him above the water so he didn’t drown.
Everything on his amazon list has been bought, but you can still help show you support on this 4th of July weekend by buying some Fighting Aces T-Shirts to help support their homecoming party. You can print out the order form here.
Happy Birthday Saddam (NOT!) April 28th, 2005
On former dictator Saddam Hussein’s 68th birthday his former subjects formed their first government in over 50 years.
“The 275-seat parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of the cabinet proposed by Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, ending a power vacuum that has existed since Jan. 30 elections.
Small cheers broke out in the assembly after the speaker of parliament declared the vote had passed by 180 votes to five.”
