It has been 6 years since terrorists attacked the WTC and Pentagon. They are still out there, and they are still trying to kill us. Never mind the political posturing that is going on as we approach another Presidential election. Just remember what really happened. What the barbaric muslim fanatics would like to see happen repeatedly.
Michelle Malkin has a good post (as always) with video and links.
Lewandowski says he was only trying to be patriotic when he wore a homemade T-shirt featuring an American flag bumper sticker and the words “Remember 9/11″ to Lincoln Park High School on Monday.
Thinking about sending your kids to Public School? Don’t.
This Free Republic post links to original threads from 9/11/2001, its like sitting through a play-by-play of the day’s events. Some of the comments are factual, some speculation. One guy hit on Osama bin-Laden as the source of the attacks soon after the first reports came in.
I’ve got a book review of Popular Mechanics’ excellent book, “Debunking 9/11 Myths,” in today’s New York Post. Here’s an excerpt:
I GET several e-mails from 9/11 conspiracy theorists every week, usually typed in all capital letters with minimal punctuation and maximum sputter. Here’s a typical message I received last Tuesday: “It appears you are not a believer. So, I have only one question, perhaps, but doubtfully, you can answer. WHY DID BUILDING SEVEN COME DOWN?”
The WTC Image Archive, a snapshot of media images from 9/11 compiled by Eric N. Krout, is open. Feel free to mirror it and pass it among your friends and relatives.
Dale Roe has organized a rememberance of every one of the 2996 victims of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Flight 93. Volunteers have been organized to pay individual tribute to every single victim. The response has been good enough that there are more bloggers than victims now (3173 at last count).
Tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of the barbaric attack on the United States by radical Islamic terrorists. Take some time to remember the innocent people that were killed in the attacks. Think about how far we have come since that day, and remember what you were feeling and thinking as you watched the towers collapse and thousands flee the churning gray cloud of debris. Remember the rescue workers who went up the stairwells as people escaped going down. Thank their families for their selfless service to the lives of others.
Think of how the response would have been different if AlGore had been president, how the world would be a different place today. I hope you realize that there are evil people who want to kill you and your family, no matter whether you support their cause or not. Understand that it matters who we elect to protect us from such threats, that your vote does matter and that the character of the person you elect matters. The true test of character comes not when things are good and easy going. They come when the Shit Hits The Fan. I think that Louisiana is discovering this the hard way, and that the country is damn lucky that GWB was in office when we were attacked.
Here are images and an article on the 200 people (estimated) who were forced to jump from the towers. The fall lastet about 10 seconds and death was instant and merciful.
Well the votes are in, and they have chosen to memorialize the heros of Flight 93 by surrounding the crash site with a big red crescent. Yep, the symbol often associated with Islam and its radical fundamentalists who killed almost 3000 people that day 4 years ago. Is this what America has come to? A PC whipped country that doesn’t want to offend even our most barbaric enimies?zombietime has an excellent overview of the site with a comparison to the crescent moon. Michelle Malkin has a good roundup of link on this.
This decision should not be allowed to stand. Who was on the panel that chose this design? Were they all islamic clerics? Blind? Or just plain ignorant? You can email the NPS person in charge of this at FLNI_Superintendent@nps.gov or you can try their non-functional web contact form.
